A forward-thinking brand identity for the rapidly-growing SXSW Gaming extension of the main event.
SXSW Gaming asked us to refresh their brand identity system to appeal to more than just their video game audience. The logo had to speak to 20+ categories now under the SXSW Gaming brand, and also had to fit into their Expo and Awards events.
The new identity was used for two years, before the SXSW Gaming events were rolled into an overarching, non-segmented SXSW brand.
