CapMetro is Austin’s regional public transportation provider. Since 1985, they’ve worked every day to give residents, commuters and visitors the best possible transit options available to match their busy everyday lives.
CapMetro was moving to a new location in Austin and tasked The Label Collective to create wall designs for their office space.
CHALLENGE
CapMetro, Austin’s public transportation agency, needed environmental graphics for their new office location that would enhance wayfinding, communicate their commitment to sustainability, and create a more engaging office environment for their employees.
SOLUTION
The Label Collective partnered with CapMetro to design and implement a set of fourteen unique graphics. The signage designs worked within an existing, cohesive visual system that incorporated informative displays about their initiatives and vibrant artwork that celebrated culture. The graphics were strategically placed to improve navigation and create a more welcoming atmosphere.
RESULT
The new environmental graphics significantly improved the cultural experience at their downtown CapMetro office. Employees who work in the new office space and those who visit as guests felt inspired by the history and quality of service that CapMetro provides to the community.
