SXSW Gaming was a rapidly-growing three-day event that was part of the SXSW main event. It was held annually and featured gaming competitions, panels, demos, and more. After 2016, SXSW Gaming was fully folded into main event programming and was no longer a stand-alone part of the conference.
SXSW Gaming asked The Label Collective to refresh their brand identity system to appeal to more than just their video game audience. The logo had to speak to 20+ categories now under the SXSW Gaming brand, and also had to fit into their Expo and Awards events.
